The Story
Peace and prosperity found Disney animation flourishing again with enchanting animated features, from Cindrella (1950) to Sleeping Beauty (1958). As the country focused on home and family, a new form of entertainment called television was broadcast right into the nation's living rooms. Eagerly embracing the new technology, Walt Disney made Mickey and his pals television stars with "The Mickey Mouse Club." Walt also changed the face of the American dream vacation when he created Disneyland Park.
