As the school teacher reads a patriotic passage the boy behind her has momentarily forgotten which hand is placed over the heart. Standing off to the left, slightly away from the main group, is a boy with his dog. His attention has been distracted by a flight of ducks. As I remember my childhood interests this just might be something of a self-portrait."
