Warner Brothers Fine Art - Marvin the Martian - Life of Marvin

Warner Brothers Fine Art - Marvin the Martian - Life of Marvin

First conceptualized in 1948, Marvin the Martian exists as one of the most popular Looney Tunes characters.

The impetus behind “Life of Marvin,” is the little Martian’s decided anger about the notoriety other aliens receive, while he continually strives to be noticed.

Michael Cole’s interpretation of Marvin is the first to be oversized while also showing the true nature of not just the Martian’s presence, but his enormous ego.

Cole has worked on theme park designs for Disneyland and Disney Hong Kong’s “A Bug’s Life,” “Toy Story” and “Hello Mickey.” Currently, he works on the hit animated series “VeggieTales.”

At one time, Cole ran Nolen-Cole, an artist haven in Florence, Alabama, where he displayed art as well as had weekly live music and entertainment. Cole plans a second Nolen-Cole gallery in Franklin, Tennessee, where he currently lives.

“Life of Marvin” is a limited edition Giclee published on fine art paper and canvas. Each is an edition of 150. All prints in both editions are hand signed by the artist.

A deluxe edition has also been released in a larger format in an edition of 50 with an image size of 36” H x 36” W.
