Excitement abounds on this winter afternoon as a family races home to finish their last minute Christmas preparations. In Terry Redlin's seventh annual Christmas print "Racing Home," the hustle and bustle of the season dances with holiday cheer.

The horse quickens the pace at the sound of Pa's call as the sleigh rushes past town square. Embraced by a load of presents, wrapping paper, and a freshly cut tree, they wave to friends passing by. The crisp cool air filled with the sweet scent of hickory smoke and gingerbread, rushes past them. Following close behind, the dogs are also caught up in the merriment. Everyone is excited to get home to cherish the long celebrated traditions of the season.
