A donation from the proceeds of "Refuge" will to go The International Gorilla Conservation Program (IGCP), which is dedicated to the protection of the endangered mountain gorilla (Gorilla gorilla berengei). It is estimated that only 600 individuals of this species remain in the mountainous forest regions of Rwands, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). IGCP is a coalition of three international nongovernmental organizations - African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), Fauna and Flora International (FFI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
