"This painting is one of a few that I have done showing the view seen from inside my house. I have lived here for ten years, and every night, the sunset is different. Storms from the Pacific drop snow on these mountains. As the sun sets behind them, the play of light is incredible, although brief, lasting only about 30 seconds."
