James Meger - Ripples

"I discovered with one of my first puppies how interested in and fearless of the water they are. It's almost as if they were part beaver," relates the artist. "In fact this young lab would be quite willing to go down into the lake after this bass."

Meger has added a number of hidden elements in "Ripples." The observant viewer will spot seven mallards, a dragonfly, frog, blue heron, nine minnows and three sunfish along with worms and the bass. Collectors know that there is always more than meets the eye in Meger's beautiful prints.
