On this quiet summer evening Darrell Bush invites us to turn back the calendar some forty or fifty years, and to sit on a lawn chair at water's edge, gazing out over the bay. "It was a time when these classic boats were a common sight," he comments. "There's no mistaking the look, feel and ride of such well-designed boats. My brother restored two old wooden Chris Craft runabouts when I was younger. That's probably why I am so fond of them today."
