Where northeast winds of up to 60 miles per hour threaten many vessels traveling these waters, this beacon of hope provides safe passage from atop a 100-foot cliff. "The challenge of this piece was to take a dark, ominous scene and depict its beauty by the use of color and light," the artist says.
