Charles White - The Homeward Path

"Last October, my wife and I took a trip to Canada and upstate New York. This particular spot could be anywhere but it was actually a beautiful little place that we discovered in rural Ontario. The late afternoon sun touched everything with a golden light that day and it was magical," says artist Charles White. "I tried to recreate that glow and the nice, warm feeling of that day in late October. It had such a feeling of home when the day was over and the animals were slowly heading toward the barn. My father had a dairy farm when I was growing up, and I have great memories of those kinds of days in the late summer and early fall."
