In this beautiful painting we witness one of the animal world's intriguing but often hidden rituals. "In the autumn, before mating season, whitetail bucks are often found in groups," Mr. Agnew comments. "They feed together, polish their antlers and engage in mock sparring matches. As I watched these bucks last fall, I was reminded of a males-only gathering, a 'Boys' Club' of sorts."
